Stephen Bouchard Obituary
He was born in Portland on April 10, 1993, a son of Michael L. and Kelley J. (Trefethen) Bouchard. Stephen was an eighth grade student at Gorham Middle School. His passion was his dirt bike. He also loved four-wheeling, snowmobiling, biking and snowboarding. Anything he could ride would put a smile on his face. He had the need for speed. His dream was to be a professional motocross rider. He was very gifted and talented in many sports and just loved being outside.
He loved spending time his friends, his girlfriend and having conversations with his big sister, Nicole. He loved to ride with his twin brother, Matthew, more than anything. They always strived to be the best at everything they did together. He loved to entertain by doing back flips off just about anything. He had the most awesome sense of humor which was felt wherever he went and his beautiful smile would light up the room and melt your heart. He lived everyday to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Kelley (Trefethen) Bouchard; twin brother, Matthew and a sister, Nicole, all of Gorham; grandparents, Rickey and Patricia Trefethen of Tavares, Fla., and Richard and Mary Bouchard of Portland; great-grandmother, Barbara Trefethen of Tavares, formerly of Hampden; aunts Tracey (Trefethen) Campman and her husband, Bill, of Tallahassee, Fla., Sonja (Bouchard) Boyle and her husband, Jim, of Windham; and great-uncle, Daniel Doughty and his wife, Wendy (Grant) Doughty.
He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at Jones Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, 673 Stevens Ave., Portland. A private committal service at Calvary Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's memory may be made to Gorham Fire & Rescue, 270 Main St., Gorham, ME 04038.

I never knew you, But wish I had. Im a avid motorcycle rider, and Gorham resident. I was told a mx rider passed away, and thought I would google to see more information about who, and why when I ran across your obit Stephen. Hey im very sorry about your loss of steve. he was an awsome friend he would always make people laugh. the one thing i will miss most about him is his smile. i find it wierd seeing matt and steve not there next to him. Again im very sorry he will be missed but not forgotten.

To you all. In this time of loss there is no words anyone can say to ease your pain. But i can say that I am here for any of you and nikki at this time and any time. I was shocked at the news of what happend. It took me a few day to recover from my blast of pain. I then realized Stephen would want us to know that it makes him sad to see everyone so sad. But still so happy to see how much eveeryone cared about him. Stephen Michael Bouchard was a great brother, athlete, son, student, friend, role model, Cousin, grandson, boyfriend, twin, and nephew. I could go on with even more things Stephen was bu tI hope you already know them. The things he did for people were so kind and sweet. He helped me become a better person. I Love Stephen Michael Bouchard as a BFFAF, Brother and a Boyfriend.

Kelly, Mike, Nicole and Matt---
Stephen always made us laugh every time we were together. I remember the day he picked up his trumpet for band. We were driving down Main Street, he unrolled my windows and blasted out notes to all the passing cars. Stephen had a gift; he could turn even the most boring drive through Gorham traffic into a hilarious adventure.

Stephen was such a great guy. When I read the obituary I smiled thinking about all the times he made me laugh... he had quite a sense of humor!! Just the other day he was making fun of me because I got bit in the face by a dog! Aw. I could tell you I'm sorry 'til I'm blue in the face and it won't bring him back but I wish so badly that it could. You never imagine losing anyone close to you but then it happens and I know you guys must be having such a hard time. This is such a huge loss. It's so unreal; it doesn't seem like the Stephen we all know and love could be gone. You all are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope each day that passes gets a little bit easier. Think about him up in heaven making everyone laugh!

Kelly,Mike, Matthew and Nichole - I can't even begin to comprehend your grief; you have my deepest condolences. Stephen spent alot of time at my house and I thoroughly enjoyed him. He had a very charming and engaging personality! I had to laugh reading the obituary because I remembered coming home from work one day and finding a mattress in the middle of my back lawn - Stephen had been using it to do back flips off my shed!
