I can not add much to such a wonderful obituary. I knew Dan and played baseball with him at Nasson. He was funny and kind. I share in your loss. God bless every member of his family.

Ben, Alden and family,
We are so deeply sorry for your loss. You and your dad, Ben, helped us purchase our three Maine homes (remember the 'lamp' house and our fixation on having a pantry? ... that we finally got!), but it was so much more than that. We kept coming to you because we felt like family; we received a personal touch. We will keep you all in our prayers. May God carry you through this as your memories and hearts keep his spirit alive until you meet again. He was such a nice man, and we liked him so much. With love,

So sad to hear - Mr. Pelletier was one of my favorite teachers. He taught me more about accounting than I learned in college. He was also always smiling and encouraging us which meant even more.

We are so sorry for your loss. Dan was a great teacher! Dan was my Accounting teacher @ Massabesic High School and he later did our taxes for the last 8 years. He will definitely be missed! He was a great guy.

Dan holds a very special place in my heart. In my years in the Sanford school system he was by far my favorite teacher. What I remember most about those days were his quick smile, his willingness to help others, and his deep respect he had for all. And then years later I had the privelege to work with his wonderful daughter-in-law Jayme. I have become close to Jayme, Alden, Jayden, and AJ and my heart breaks for there loss. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

He was my Accounting teacher at Massabesic in '78 and dealt with him in the real estate world. Nice man. Saddened to see he left us so early. Sorry for your loss.

My coach, my teacher. I remember the way you would grin when I (finally) managed to complete a left-handed layup. I was saddened to see you leave us so soon.

Im sure that you will have your hands full dealing with the stress of all the sadness that will follow, but with sadness thier also is happiness.
