I am so very sad to hear of Danny's passing....He was a student of mine when I taught at Freeport years ago. He was such a joy to have around. I remember once he played a trumpet solo at the Freeport Baptist Church. God bless the Profenno family during this troubling time....Rev. Gerald Oleson, Jefferson, NH

I'm sad & shocked to read Danny's obit in the paper today.
We grew up together in the neighborhood and played at Grove Street School Playground at off school hours, whirling on that merry-go-round endlessly.
He liked my little sister (Susan) a lot & would stop at the house to see if she was there, though he also stopped by to see myself or my Grandfather, Verne, who he worked with for a time.
He thought it was awesome that my Grandmother was rushed to the Hospital to donate her O Negative blood to save the life of (either his Dad or Uncle, I forgot which) his family member.
Last time I saw him I ran into him in Portland and gave him a ride home to Brunswick.
He was always his authentic self with me and I loved him for that.
I regret that I can't make it to his Service, as I have a 10:30 appointment I have to keep.
I will morn him & miss him knowing he's not with us now.
