Don was an inspiration to all of us in the class of '56 at Maine Maritime Academy. His life continued to inspire many in other places. A true gentleman and leader of the highest caliber. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched in so many ways.

I remember Donald as a child, we grew up on Munjoy Hill...he began his life as a kind and giving person, and these attributes he carried throughout his life...the world is a better place because he was in it. He touched so many lives and I'm sure God is pleased to have him home. My love to his entire family.

Uncle Donald was the best! I have such great memories of being with my cousins and him at the cottage in Peabbles Cove. He had such a diverse and interesting life and he did so much good for so many. He will be missed. Love to Anna and Gail. xo
