He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Donald Choate and Wendell Niles; and his grandmother, Madeline Niles.

Before his death, Jason requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to Camp Sunshine where he spent a great deal of his time, both as a guest and as a volunteer, and where he met his special angel friend, Ms. Sharon Dube of Gray.

Dear Steve and Carol,

I have known Jason for 4 years and we instanly became friends. In fact he was my best man at my wedding in 2003. My condolences go out to you two but rest assure that Jason is watching over us smiling and ready to help us when in need just like he did when he was alive. Jason is an inspiration to a lot of people such as myself and I will truly miss him. I regret not staying in touch since he got married but I guess sometimes life takes a fast track and you can loose control. God Bless and call if you need anything. Carol, Steve and all those who loved Jason-

I wanted to let you know that all of us here at Camp Sunshine are thinking of you and remembering the wonderful times we spent with Jason here at Camp. In front of the fire with marshmallows around his neck, and ringing my bell until my ears rung continuously. We will love him forever as we do you. You are in our prayers and we are lucky to have known him. He is our Camp Sunshine angel. Love to you all

To the loving family of Jason: Carol, Steve, Kim (and O'neill, Olivia, EJ), Mimi and all of the extended family.

I am so sorry that Jason has passed from this earth so early. I remember his smile, his top-notch well-groomed appearance, his humor and his kindness. He was, undoubtedly, a kind warrior---fighting the good fight and caring for others along the way. No words can ease your grief at this time but know that there is more to life than our earthly walk. You are all in my thoughts at this sad and difficult time. God bless, Nance Vallieres

Dear Carol and Steven

I can’t say I knew Jason as the Goff Family did. The day I met Jason was the day we were on the same golfing teem at the Scott Memorial Tournament. The minute Jason saw me he knew I had only golfed once or twice before. But he was patient and helped me learn. We extend our heartfelt sympathies and prayers to you at this time. May God Bless and watch over you. Jason is now with Scotty. All our love Jordan Goff and Ashley Nutter
