Ann, Doug, Holly, Tommy. My Condolences for sure. Really, I am still more numb to Johns passing than to Joans. I like to think, well I know, that they are both up there gossiping away. How appropriate. To me, our families were one. For many years, we did everything together. I fondly remember all the fun and mischief at THE FARM. Motorcycles, snowmobiles, skating, the scary barn at night, lightning strikes, and bon fires. Loved that place. Then the ski trips. Pleasant Mountain and the giant glazed donuts on the East Side. Jack Spat. Spread Eagles and Daffies, look out for the ski patrol. John in his GIANT coat...will he stop in time!! Saddleback, remember the play we put on from the loft. The last time I saw John was at Moms house a few weeks ago. Ann, Mom, Dad, John, and me had Italian sandwiches (but of course) and talked about my new lakehouse. John stunned me by knowing my 88 year old neighbor Mr Hugo, he even knew his brass business from the 1970s. But that was John. I will remember him for is jovial laugh and smile and how he was always there for us kids. My best. Michael

No words can express my sympathy for each one of you... I can tell you how much I loved growing up with Uncle John. My most special memory is when my dad had to attend to my grandfather's passing and Uncle John jumped right in and brought me to the father daughter banquet! I had so much fun that night. I was proud to introduce my uncle John to everyone.

Ann and family...I was very saddened to hear of John's passing. I enjoyed getting to know him and serving with him on the Cape Elizabeth School Board a long time ago and have always been pleased to see you both through the years at various functions. I hope that memories of happier times will soon fill the emptiness of your loss. Our condolences to you all!

John was an interesting person. He loved his family. I will miss his stories and the stories of his family, and the wealth of information he knew about the history of Cape Elizabeth and so much more. John was a very special person. He will be missed.
