Dear Brother and Sister..
My name is Rebekah, my daughter is Adalin and she also had HLHS. We are Jehovah Witnesses and we live in Kansas. My husband and I send our deepest prayers and sympathy! Adalin is now 6 and last year she had a heart transplant. As you know we follow the scriptures, and we especially follow Proverbs 3:5,6 to TRUST IN JAH with all your heart. It is what we have to do. I can not tell you with goosebumps on my arms...how I found this. I believe Jah directed me with faith. And with this I hope to one day meet your beautiful family. With deepest prayers. Your spiritual family in Kansas..

Stephanie, Rick, and Ashley,
That you lost Joshua is a tragedy of infinite proportions; that you have the Truth and the knowledge that Jehovah will not forget Joshua, and will be here to continually embrace your family with the warmth of HIS love is a blessing. I am so very sorry. You and all of Joshua's extended family have my deepest sympathy and love.

Dear Rick, Stephanie, and Ashley,
I am still in shock and cannot find words to express my grief, or the sorrow I feel for you and your family. This really feels like it can't be happening. Joshua has touched so many people in his short life. The thought of him being gone hurts so much. The loss of such a sweet boy is beyond tragic. Seeing a friend lose a child is the most painful feeling I know. I can't imagine how much more painful death would be without the hope we have. I so look forward to when Joshua will be reunited with us. I am praying for extra strength for you and for our congregation. There is a rough road ahead so I pray that with Jehovah's help we can be the support you will need. It is late and I am probably saying all the wrong things, but please know we love you, we loved Joshua, and we are praying for your entire family.
With deepest love and sympathy,
The Kardashs

I don't know you, but my heart breaks for you. The pain of losing a child is one that never goes away, and one that no parent should have to endure. Keep him close in your heart and know that he will be with you wherever you go and whatever you do in life.
