I had the pleasure of meeting "Lock" Blaney at several of my dad's Navy reunions (for the USS Knox - APA-46). Gregarious, enthusiastic - full of life. Great story-teller. Very much admired by my father. I wish I'd been able to talk to this man one more time. I was in Maine in October 2011 but couldn't get a handle on a good address. I came to love and admire all these guys that served with my Dad. I hope my Dad and Lock are somewhere together now - and that they share old stories and look down on this world and wonder what's become of it.

Please let me know when the service will be on Peak's and I will try to attend. Again, my heartfelt sorrows and prayers go out to you all. Randy Sprinkle, Winston-Salem NC
