Shawn Michael Provencher, WSO-CSM, 38 CHICKAMAUGA, Ga. -- Shawn Michael Provencher, WSO-CSM, 38, of Chickamauga, Ga., passed away suddenly Monday, Sept. 29, 2008. He was born in Bangor, and has lived in the North Georgia area since February of 2006. He was employed with National Boiler Service, Inc. as their Corporate Safety Director and was a Marine Corp. Veteran. Shawn spent his life dedicated to the safety profession with the goal of providing every worker with a safe working environment. Shawn loved life with his wife, Carrie, and daughter, Mariah. He was compassionate for all living beings and was true to the Marine Corps motto, Semper Fidelis. He was a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carmen Provencher, his grandfather, Irving Kellman; and his step-father, Dan Coyne. Survivors include his loving wife of more than 19 years, Carrie Bair Provencher of Chickamauga, Ga.; his daughter, Mariah Bair Provencher; his mother, Bonnie Harris of Readfield, father, Michael Provencher of Vassalboro; three sisters, Heide Provencher of Girdwood, Alaska, Caitlyn Coyne of Bronx, N.Y., and Margaret Harris of Boston, Mass., three brothers, Casey Coyne of Readfield, Jason Cole of Westbrook, and Andrew Harris of Orono; grandfather Richard Provencher of Sanford, grandmother Aurora Kellman of St. Petersburg, Fla.; several nieces, nephews; cousins; and a large extended family. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, in the Oakwood Baptist Church, Chickamauga, Ga., with Bro. Charles Rhoades officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. As well, there will be a service in Acton at the Provencher family camp on Mousam Lake, on Oct. 12, 2008, at 12 p.m. Arrangements by W. L.
