I ALSO HAVE RECENTLY LOST 3 FAMILY MEMBERS INCLUDING MY HUSBAND AND BROTHER WITHIN 5 MONTHS OF EACH OTHER...THE PAIN I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER GET OVER IT WAS SO UNBEARABLE ONLY SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN THROUGH IT KNOWS HOW REALLY BAD IT IS....ALTHOUGH I LOST MY BEST FRIEND AND IT WAS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE...IT DOES GET EASIER ...YOU WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AND YOU WILL NEVER FORGET BUT IT WILL GET BETTER...IT HAS BEEN 1 YR AND 3 WEEKS FOR ME AND THE CRYING ONLY COMES ONCE A WEEK...
HE WAS A GREAT SOUL AND AS SOMEONE JUST TOLD ME...

Shawn hired me over 2 years ago as a safety coordinator with NBS.
During that time, we became friends and brothers in Christ.
No doubt Shawn has eternal rest with God, but from his passing, he left a little of his Shawness in all of our hearts and minds.
For that I am eternaly greatful.
God's peace and fulfillment is my prayer to all the family.

My deepest sympathy to Shawn's family. I recently saw him and talked to him at our 20th High School Reunion. Talking to him was like the years hadn't gone by...just as I remembered him from growing up; a great guy. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard today of Shawn's passing and it is just unbelievable! Just 3 days ago I was riding home with my husband from work and a song came on the radio that I hadn't heard in forever...it prompted me to tell my husband of when Shawn & I went to school together, we were dating, and we used to dance to this particular song at his house!! He will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to you in this difficult time.

When our old boss called me and told me that we lost Shawn I fell back in my chair in complete shock. Who said guys aren't supposed to cry? I did and I'm not ashamed.
I was so priveleged to know Shawn both personally and professionally. I had the opportunity to recommend Shawn for a Job in Georgia that turned out to be the career move he and Carrie were waiting for. He was so excited when I told him about it. Shawn was 20 years younger than I and Brenda and I loved him like a son. Tears are flowing down my cheeks while I write this, we have lost a member of our family.
Carrie and Mariah we don't know what to say other than our thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care and contact us if you can

To The Provencher Family,
We are sorry to hear of Shawn's passing. Our thoughts are with your family and we want you to know that even as young kids--Shawn was always a wonderful person to be around. In reading other people's thoughts, he obviously lived his life as an adult the very same way. We will never forget his true kindness of heart and great smile.
