I am sorry for your loss of Billie. He was a wonderful man. I used to come into work at Kars Service on most Tuesday and Thursday or what we so fondly refer to as the “T” days to see Billie and his other buddies talking and telling stories. It was sure a nice way to start my day. I used to love to sit and listen to some of the great stories he had to tell. I was also the lucky recipient of many of his paintings both for myself and for my grandchildren. I know that I am a better person for having had Billie in my life as I am sure many others are too. He will be sadly missed.

Bill gave Marianne away at our wedding so you know how close the Reynolds and the Mastrolucas were and still are.. That speaks for itself. I personally was very impressed by Bill's gentlemanly appearence and the fact that he and I shared a love of both sailing and art. He will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Bill's family.

I miss grampy very dearly,
Although I have been unable to visit all the time I still made an effort when I was home on breaks, and everytime I came over gramp would say "oh why did you bring her here", I always got a good laugh, and he would always smile. He was usually in the day room when I came over, playing solitare or looking at the animals in the backyard. Over the past year we would talk about me being at college in vt, and how much he loved that I was there, he continually told me you need to go skiing, you need to go skiing, and I was not buying it, but he loved to talk about the weather with me and was fascinated that I was studying the weather at college. I will miss everything about him, he always had a welcoming smile as I entered the house, and had his cup of coffee. His paintings were always beautiful, and he always gave me one, I was amazed when I went into the basement to see all the paintings, and there was grampy painting away with no worries.
He will be dearly missed and forever in my prayers.

Some of my favorite memories are of sitting around listening to "Brother" Bill, my father Richard, and earlier my grandfather Lenny talk about Portland and South Portland in the days before and during the depression, and in their times of service to their country in great detail; "Brother" Bill was such a great storyteller ! My daughter Maeve would get so exited each time "Brother" Bill would give her one of his paintings. You will be remembered and missed by our family, "Brother" Bill. Anchors Aweigh ! -Your Godson Tim

Who will roll their eyes when I come over and pretend to be annoyed that I showed up? Who will tell me to stay awake and wait for the Green Monster of Gully Gulch to come on t.v.? Who will show me their latest works of art? Who will smell like Old Spice, and have scratchy whiskers?
No one could ever have had as wonderful a grandfather as Gramp was. He kept up his sense of fun and humor his whole life.
Who will ever be able to forget him? Not me, he's a part of my heart and soul.

I will miss you all the days of my life.
Love Marcia Annie Fannie

I will miss Grampie so much! Sleeping in the "crack" on the bed. Hearing all the stories about the green monster from gully gulch. Gramp had a way of telling great stories.
I saw him on Monday in one of his favorite spots, down stairs painting up a storm. He was talking about how he wished his Mother and Grandmother could see his paintings. He said " they would say.......Billy those paintings are beautiful, but would have a different opinion once they were out of ear shot". We laughed and little did we know he would be seeing them a few days later.
I will miss you Gramp and thanks for all the great stories and wonderful memories! You will always be in my heart.
