To Dr. Bevan's family, my sincere sympathy on the passing of the best Rheumatologist. He helped me through a very difficult time while he was as Suburban General. I am so greatful to him. He will always be in my prayers.

I am a nurse who had the honor and pleasure of working with Dr.Bevan when I worked for Indendence Blue Cross. Dr.Bevan was a kind, compassionate and gentle man. He always treated the nurses with respect. He truly cared about the patients that he served. My sincere condolences to his family during this difficult time. May God hold all of you in the palm of his hand as you grieve this loss. Laurie R.

Dave was a good friend and colleague. He was kind, patient, and always smiling and was a great to work with during the years at Independence Blue Cross.
After leaving Blue Cross he continued to keep in touch and have lunch occasionally with me and "the boys" (Rick Bove and Dario LaRocca). He kept us entertained with stories of sailing, baby sitting his daughter's dog (especially holding the umbrella for the dog in the rain while letting himself get wet), and speaking with pride about his children and grandchildren.
I will miss Dave.

Ron and I will always have fond memories of David from Philadelphia College Of Osteopathic Medicine days and the Welsh Society Activities we both attended with him. We are sad to hear of his loss. He will be truly missed.

Dave was a great colleague and friend who always supported me and my department. His generous help volunteering in our OPP labs was a testament to his gift as a teaching physician.

In Memory;
My introduction to Dr. Dave, (as he asked to be called) was 18 years ago, as he was preparing for the arrival of his children and grandchildren. This preparation was methodical as it repeatedly continued for many years. I observed a mental organization combined with true excitement and love for the arrival and time to spend with is family. He would spend several ours setting up a multitude of bicycles, perfectly displayed with helmets, the blow up pool on the deck for the kids late afternoon dip before dinner alfresco. His beloved sail boat was always prepped for trips and lessons on the harbor. As an outsider (neighbor), it was obvious he didn't take time with his family for granted. Always with a smile on his face for others, even when my multiple dogs and children disturbed the neighborhood peace.
He will never be forgotten in Fog Cove, and will always be an example for us to live each day to it's fullest. Love to his friends and family as he will be deeply missed.
