Joseph Haines Obituary

Joseph M. Haines on Dec. 22, 2016 at the age of 81. He was a veteran of the Korean War, an avid fresh water fisherman and a long time resident of Wayne, PA. Cherished husband of Rose (Hunter) Haines, Beloved father of Karen, Sharon, Robert (Patty) and loving daughter in law Erin Haines. Mr. Haines was preceded in death by his son Joseph. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Sarah (Rob) Gavin, Joseph, Allie, Kelly, Megan, Lauren, Ryan Haines and 1 great grandchild Reilly Gavin. Dear brother of Mary Gonoude, Thomas, John (Peggy), Dennis (Diane) Haines and the late Kitty Tease. Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Wayne Senior Center 108 Station Rd. Wayne, PA 19087 or Holisticare Hospice 685 Kromer Ave. Berwyn, PA 19312 would be preferred.

It's been a very long time since I thought about the Haines family. I was Karen's friend in grade school and her parents took us out to the Doyestown Farmers Market every once in a while. Karen was an incredible runnner back in those days. A kind family.

I truly wish peace of heart for you and your family as you are going through this difficult time. We pray that God's love be with you as you face this challenging time, and be mindful of the words of our savior. He sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to comfort all who mourn (Isa 61: 1,2).
