Drew Weakland Obituary
He graduated from Gainesville High School and pursued an honorary degree from the prestigious School Of Life. He spent his career in the US Army Ret. E7. He was involved in The Gulf War and Operation Freedom. He served all over the world.
Married Karen Kristine (Raulerson) Weakland at the clubhouse in Daytona Fl.
He was an avid marksman, hunter, fisherman and gardener. He loved listening to music of all kinds.
He loved riding motorcycles and rode with the US Military Vets MC for many years. He loved his wife, his friends, spending time at the beach, and his pets.
He always said he wanted to leave this world the same way he came into it: Yelling and covered in someone else's blood, but he passed away on March 4, 2023, peacefully at home, surrounded by those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Sandra Weakland.
He is survived by his wife Karen of 20 years, son Joshua Chance, a daughter Savanna Skye, a brother, Ty Joseph, eight grandchildren and many friends.
His service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Milam Newberry Chapel located at 22405 W Newberry Rd. Newberry Fl 32669.

We had many good years as best friends. Life got in the middle and we didn't see each other for years. Until a tragedy happened in my life. He found out and came to see me .. He was the same Drew as when we were children. Always made you laugh
