Arthur Hampshire Obituary

Arthur "Roger" Hampshire, age 78, of Malvern, AR, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1946 in Newark, Ohio, the son of Arthur and Margaret Kuninger Hampshire. Roger was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver and a gunsmith for many years. He was an avid reader, loved teaching self-defense and was meticulous about his yard and rose bushes. Roger worked on anything with a motor. He had a love for antique cars, trucks, and races. Roger was a lover of cats and dogs, taking his dachshunds with him cross country. He never met a stranger.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Susan Jane Walcott Hampshire; sisters, Magdalene J. Hampshire and Nellie Anna-Carolyn Hampshire.
Left to cherish his memory, daughters, Andrea Marguarite Hampshire of Hot Springs and Susan Ann Thomas of Malvern; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and one on the way; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 12th at Regency Funeral Home.
