Tabitha Yvonne Clegg Moore,48 a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at her home. She was born on October 1, 1974, in Malvern, Arkansas, as the third child of Lee Roy Clegg and Katherine Danner Clegg. Tabitha's life was a testament to the love and connections she shared with her family and those fortunate enough to know her.
Tabitha's journey began in Malvern, Arkansas, where she entered the world with an unquenchable spirit and a heart full of kindness. She attended Prattsville High School, graduating with the class of 1993. Her commitment to education was a reflection of her determination to succeed and make those around her proud.
From an early age, Tabitha embraced her faith and found solace in her relationship with Christ. She was a loyal member of Davis Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, Arkansas, and later found a spiritual home at Changing Lives Ministry under the guidance of Alex Huell. Tabitha's unwavering faith guided her through life's challenges and illuminated her path of compassion and service.
Tabitha embarked on a professional journey that showcased her caring nature and dedication to others. She began her career at First Step and later transitioned to the healthcare field, where her innate nurturing qualities shone brightly. Her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others was evident in her work and interactions.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Tabitha was a woman of many passions. She found serenity in fishing and the thrill of riding her Can-am. These activities allowed her to connect with nature and embrace the beauty of the world around her. Her fondness for these activities was matched only by her deep love for her nephew Kendall. Their bond was a source of joy and companionship, a testament to the impact she had on those closest to her.
Tabitha's passing leaves a void that can never be filled. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Clegg, and her grandparents, Sammy and Nora Danner, as well as her grandparents, John Ethan and Etta Lee Clegg.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her beloved daughter, Kia Y. Moore, and son, Montel Moore, who will forever cherish the love and guidance she bestowed upon them. She is also survived by her siblings: Kathleen (Kevin) Smith, Keyanna Clegg, both of Prattsville, Arkansas, and Jessica Bradford of Hawthorne, California, as well as her brother, Brian L. Clegg of Prattsville, Arkansas. Tabitha's presence will forever be missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.
The Visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00 A.m., with the Funeral service beginning at 12:00 Noon at Davis Creek Baptist Church 192 County Road 447 Prattsville, AR 72129.
