Stephen Anthony Dore

Stephen A. Dore of June Lake, CA, died Saturday, May 8, 2021 at home with his wife Holle, son Pierce and family by his side.
He was born May 14, 1952 in Orange County at St. Joseph's, the son of late Marcia and Robert Dore of June Lake. Steve was the third of eight siblings. On April 6, 1974, he married Holle Ann Roth at St. Charles Borromeo in North Hollywood, CA. Steve was last employed at June Mountain for over 20 years as lift maintenance before retiring five years ago. He was always concerned for the safety and well-being of the locals and guests visiting the beautiful Eastern Sierra that he lovingly called home for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Holle, son Pierce, daughter and son-in-law Jenniver and Nick Lawrence of Canyon Lake, daughter MacKenzie Dore of Simi Valley, daughter and son-in-law Alexandra and Garret Jolly of 29 Palms. Siblings Rob, Phil, Fitz, David, Pene and Carrie, grandchildren Kyler, Casyn, Kendall, Emma, Jackson and Riley will miss him. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Marcia and younger brother Peter.
A graveside memorial to honor Steve's life will be celebrated Sunday, June 13th at 1 p.m. at the Mono Lake Cemetery. All are welcome.
