Luke R. Dore

Luke Randolph Dore, 62, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2026, after a short battle with lung cancer at Gosnell Memorial Hospice Center in Scarborough, Maine, surrounded by his family.

Born in New Hampshire and raised in Maine, Luke was a beloved father, brother, Papa, and friend. He worked at CFC Foundation + Floors for over 25 years.

Luke was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and playing horseshoes. He especially cherished the Annual Good Ol' Boys Horseshoe Tournament, where he proudly took first place in 2025. Luke's truest joys were his family and weekends spent playing yard games and enjoying barbecues with all his children and grandchildren.

Luke is survived by his children Melanie, Rebecca, Dean, Linda, and Natasha; his grandchildren Vickie (husband Zackery), Nicholas (fiancée Gabrielle), Shayne (wife Cassidy), Anastasia (boyfriend Tyler), Laylah, and Ryanne; and his great-grandchildren Luke, Aviana, Taylor, Elijah, Wrenley, and Vallee. He is also survived by his siblings Ernest II, Eldora, Martha, and Florance.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Vickie; his parents, Ernest Sr. and Irene; and his sister, Melony.

A funeral service will be held at Hope Memorial in Biddeford on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Amvets Post 1, located at 147 Alfred Street, Biddeford, Maine 04005.
