Christina Rae Jones-Hancock, age 62, of Fremont, MI, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Marion, MI.
Christina was born on July 19, 1963, in Lansing, MI, the child of Paul & Jill (Higgins) Jones. She grew up in Manistee county and later went on to earn her Associate's Degree in Health & Science, graduating as valedictorian in 2016.
Christina will be remembered for her love and passion for crafting, quilting and crocheting. She loved the Outdoors, Trivia, Music, Board games and growing her own fresh Fruits & Vegetables.
Christina is survived by her children, Alan (Nichole) Steffes of Marion, MI, James (Arricca) Pearson of Eaton Rapids, MI and Raymond Steffes of Ionia, MI; her sister, Tasha (Tony) Covell; brother, Tyrone Jones; grandchildren, Tatianna Calderon, Brianna Nolan, Jeremiah Nolan, Kelley Pearson, Haylee Pearson, Allison Pearson, and Summer Steffes; great grandson,Sterling Baker; her two life-long friends Alanna Beaton & Anne Tucceri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandson, Scottie Steffes; brother, Timothy Jones; sister, Tracy Jones; nephew, Keith Parrington; and niece, Tori Covell.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on October 5th at Christe's Vintage Stone Venue in Marion, Michigan, from 1 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to -
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Christina Jones-Hancock.
