I knew Dan only as a customer at his store, but I’m sure I speak for many others in saying that while I came to buy bait and tackle, I often stayed to visit with Dan, who was always glad to to swap fishing stories, tell me what and where the fish were biting and share his views on just about any subject. I often thought the name of the store should be Osborn’s Sport and Hospitality. I will truly miss him.
