Barbara Hagerman

Mansfield - Barbara J. (Odson) Hagerman, 82, of Mansfield, passed away on her wedding anniversary, Monday, October 22, 2018, surrounded by her family. She fought with Parkinson's Disease and finished well. Southern Care Hospice aided the family in her final months.

Barbara was born on March 26, 1936, in Mansfield, to Richard and Helen W. (Mattern) Odson. She was a 1955 graduate of Madison High School. She married the love of her life, Richard Hagerman, on October 22, 1955, and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage. She owned a ceramic shop and later created beautiful ceramic dolls, retiring in 2000. Barbara grew up attending First Christian Church and later served with Berean Baptist. She loved her family, and enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking. She was also a great family event planner.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; two children, Steve (Karen) Hagerman and Mari (Tony) Colace both of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Kyle, Holli, Chris, and Adam; five great-grandchildren; and two half-sisters, Bonni (Bob) Remy of Mansfield, and Beth (Barry) Eckert of Rockford, IL.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Candace Harp; sister, Evelyn Dunham; and half-brother, Richard Odson.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018, at the funeral home, with Pastor Howdy Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Windsor Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 41 Briggs Dr, Ontario, OH 44906.

I´m so so sorry for the loss of Barb! My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I was a nurse for her many years ago with VNA. I worked with Mari and Karen during my time there. She was a beautiful lady with a wonderful family! She is missed God Bless
