I treasure my memories of my SOS sister Jill. I felt secure in her loving friendship. I remember when she slipped away into heaven and I know she is there waiting for me to join her in everlasting joy.

We miss you Jill.
It has taken me until today to be able to read her obituary without crying. She lovingly accepted me as her step-mother and wife of her "Daddy". Thank you Lord for Jill's life.

My dear Sister in Christ. You have been such an inspiration to me. Your time with us was way too short but the impact you made so grand. Our SOS group will not be the same without you. "When we ALL get to heaven what a day of rejoicing it will be ..." Peace be with J.R. and your family and friends. Much love, Rocky Redd, Asheville, NC

Dear Jill,
I guess it seems odd writing to you, but we both believe that words have power, so I hope somehow they have the power to reach you. You were a beloved student. I remember your work on the newspaper and Voice of Democracy at Wynford, and I followed your career with pride. I keep thinking of the line from Macbeth: "Out, out, brief candle...." The candle of your life has gone out too quickly, but the afterglow of your bright life will stay forever with those who loved you--including me.
With love,
Mrs.T.
