We miss you Jill.
It has taken me until today to be able to read her obituary without crying. She lovingly accepted me as her step-mother and wife of her "Daddy". Thank you Lord for Jill's life.

Dear Jill,
I guess it seems odd writing to you, but we both believe that words have power, so I hope somehow they have the power to reach you. You were a beloved student. I remember your work on the newspaper and Voice of Democracy at Wynford, and I followed your career with pride. I keep thinking of the line from Macbeth: "Out, out, brief candle...." The candle of your life has gone out too quickly, but the afterglow of your bright life will stay forever with those who loved you--including me.

With love,

Mrs.T.
