Yolanda Wellington Obituary
MANSFIELD: Yolanda "Yo-Yo" Patrice WELLINGTON, 42, passed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus after an extended illness.
Ms. Wellington was born on Saturday, September 8, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri and had lived in Mansfield the past 40 years. Yolanda was a member of the 1991 graduating class of Mansfield Senior High School, and went on to pursue and receive her Associates Degree in Human Services from North Central State College. She was employed with Richland County Job and Family Services for a number of years until her health began to fail. Yo-Yo was also a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church serving with the Senior Choir. She enjoyed crotcheting, cross word puzzles, and playing games.
Yo-Yo is survived by her daughter: Treionai S. Ross-Facione, Mansfield, parents: Sylvester "Slim" (LaVerne) Wellington, Sr., Mansfield, mother: Judy Peavy Wellington Gates, St. Louis, MO; 8 siblings; Sylvester "Fatman" Wellington, Jr., Mansfield, YoVan Young, and Deyana S. Williams, St. Louis, Temika Moore, Stone Mountain, Georgia, James (Ursula) Banks, Sr., and Angelisa (Eric) Burgin, Raleigh, North Carolina, Robert "Mario" (Felicia) Moore, Sr., Morrow, Georgia, and Bruce (Kimberly) Williams, Mobile, Alabama; paternal grandmother: Martha Cornell, St. Louis; 2 special friends Dion Vassar, Cincinnati and Kisha Thompson-Pender, Columbus; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 AM in the Shiloh Baptist Church by her pastor, Bishop William Morris, Jr. officiating. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. till time of service. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the home of her father, 935 Sautter Dr. from 5-8 p.m. daily till the day of service.

yolanda you were my neigbor for several years we had some wonderful talks and some good ole laughs every year on my birthday 9~12 you made it your business to wish me happy birthday . and though you will be missed, one thing I know is you have met Jesus face to face and you are now free of sickness and safe in his arms.
