Ms Diana,
Just heard about Alan. We played tennis many times. Recall Alan showing up with your 3 border collies at Pioneer Pk and he was a always so upbeat. He always hit "full out" no matter what so when I was on the court with him opponent or partner I had to be on my toes.
He's one of the best people I've ever known. Did I mention he was also triple smart?

So very sad to lose Alan - a long-time friend of my mother's who became a friend to our whole family and then just family - I called Alan and Diana my California auntie and uncle. I can't believe I will never see his sunny face or hear his sweet voice again. My heart goes out to Diana and everyone who loved Alan. Goodbye Alan! I love you and miss you!

Our family friend, Alan Jamison, whom many of my friends met over the years at mine and my parents' various birthdays and parties and dinners passed away this month after a brave battle with cancer. Alan and his wife Diana knew me since birth. They taught me to ski, we spent trips camping in RVs by a river, I tagged along wine-tasting as a kid, and never let a family get-together go without seeing them right there with us to celebrate. They gifted me a week at their condo in the Bahamas when I graduated Grad School and always donated to Heifer International at Christmas in my name as a reminder that there was more to the holidays than getting physical gifts. Alan lit up EVERY room he entered and him and Diana were the relationship I always held the highest as a benchmark for true love and how to treat your partner. I will miss him so deeply as will my parents who considered him a true life-time friends.

I have many very fond memories of Alan. He was the kindest of men, and loved family, friends and food, all the nourishing things of life.
Patrick and I will always miss him, and send deepest condolences to Diana and all who loved him.

I have tons of memories that I will cherish that involved Alan. He taught me so much and I will always remember his statement " What is your therapeutic intent?" He was a rare combination of a highly intelligent man that could be as down to earth as anyone. I will miss him much.
