Glen Walker Obituary

Glen Edward Walker After an eight-year battle with lung cancer, Glen passed away on September 10, 2014 at his home in San Rafael. He was 77. A native of Michigan, Glen graduated from Northwestern University and Fordham University School of Law. He held several newspaper and public relations jobs before going to American Airlines to be editor of American Way magazine and later Associate General Counsel. He was an administrative law judge with the California Public Utilities Commission until his retirement in 2006. He proudly served on the 2008-09 Marin County civil grand jury. Glen is survived by his wife Sarah, his step-sons Jonathan Prugh (Marina) and David Prugh (Janette) and by his granddaughters Janea and Davia. He also leaves his frisky dog Emma. Per his request, no services were held. Donations in his memory may be made to Planned Parenthood or the Marin Humane Society.

I will always miss Glen. I worked with him at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for several years. I also remember riding the bus with him home from work. He was a very competent and well liked judge at the CPUC. My prayers are with him and his family.
