Great teacher. Oldest collection of science film reels ever. He had the best car in the teacher lot (old porche) he was proud of ;)

I owe a lot to Coach Treu! He was my football coach as well as my Chemistry instructor in 1974. He recognized hard work, rewarded such effort and encouraged us all to do the best we could. His influence helped me later in my career and continues every day. I was deeply saddened in 2021 to hear of his passing. I will always be thankful of his impact on my behalf. Can’t wait to see him again at the next level.

Mr. Treu was one of the best teachers at San Marin. He really knew how to get the best out of his students. He was an amazing football coach who impacted hundreds if not thousands of young people. Rest in peace and thank you for making us better for knowing you and having you as a teacher. God bless.

Mr. Treu taught me Chemistry and Physics in Verdun, France in 1962-1964. He was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration for me. I recall the day when he told us he had ordered a red Triumph TR-4. That car suited him so well.
