Peter Anderson Obituary

Peter Anderson Mar. 23, 1953 - Dec. 30, 2021 Peter Anderson was born to Joseph and Charlotte Anderson in the Cow Hollow District of San Francisco. He attended St. Vincent de Paul grammar school and graduated from Galileo High School. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union and worked in the shipyards of San Francisco until retiring in 1990. He moved to Larkspur in 1980, where he frequented St. Patrick's Church, along with his mom. Upon his mom's passing, he moved to Novato. Peter was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Dante Council, participating with his dad for many years in the events the Knights held throughout Northern California. He visited the Tahoe casinos where he enjoyed playing the slots with his mom. He was an avid sports fan of the 49ers, Giants and Warriors. Peter had a big heart and an engaging smile and laugh. He maintained his relationships from grammar school and would frequently visit the old neighborhood and longtime friends. Several years ago he reconnected with his girlfriend and caregiver, Jeanne Boscacci, who was with him when he passed. Peter is survived by his brothers, Michael (Shelley) and Thomas (Kate), and his niece Elysha Irish (Dennis) and their two children. The family wishes to thank his many doctors and nurses at Kaiser Permanente for the medical support they provided over the years. Please send any donations to your favorite charity. A celebration of life service will be held later this spring.

I've had many great memories growing up with Peter throughout the years. From living across the street from each other on Buchanan and Filbert to attending Saint Vincent de Paul. Then it was on to high school. We spent a lot of afternoons hanging out in the neighborhood and playing strike out and touch football. But the BEST time I had with Peter was on June 13, 2012 when we saw Matt Cain of the SF Giants pitch a perfect game. What a night! Keep smiling buddy. Rest in peace and I will miss seeing you at our group get togethers.
