Peter Crane Obituary

Peter R. Crane Peter was born on May 31, 1970 in Marin County. He received his law degree from the University of San Francisco in 1998 and practiced business law. As a seasoned investor, he also helped startups become billion dollar brands. Peter served as a founder and advisor to numerous blockchain companies, one of which incentivized the reduction of carbon emissions. He quickly became one of the leaders in the expanding industry. Peter also worked with groups to provide data privacy, health and wellness. Peter was co-founder of Planet Positive Ventures, which activated "his unwavering dedication to facilitating scalable climate solutions." He traveled the world skiing and surfing. As a yogi, he brought great ideas and good will to those he met. Peter was a dedicated concert goer and an avid collector of Rolling Stones memorabilia. He could put on a wig and then relish being mistaken for lead singer, Mick Jagger. Peter's legacy was to build a sustainable future for a positive planet. He was loved by so many, who like him, were free spirits. Peter is survived by his mother, Basia. Donations may be made to Planet Positive Ventures, or the Donor Network West.

Peter's smile was infectious, always. For years we would banter back and forth, yet when I needed Peter to give me suggestions or a reality check, he did. I am sad to hear about his passing, I find comfort that he is in a place of peace with God

Peter, i am sorry for many years we did not re-connect but i thought of our early friendship often and imagined we would one day. Now i know that day will need to wait to heaven. God bless you and my condolences to Basia.

Devastated to hear about Peter’s passing this evening. Nothing I can write about him would do justice to the bright, charismatic and loving person he is. We clicked instantly. What he wanted most in life was to love and be loved and he certainly was. I will always miss him.

Buddy. We shared a lot of great times together. From woodlands to surfing in San Diego, fishing at fallen leaf and rocking out to the stones in concert. You will be greatly missed by all the Oronzi family.

With love & peace
