Karrol, Steve, Ellen, & Julie and all -
I was so sad to hear of Bob's passing. When I think of Bob I have so many fond memories of my childhood and memories of my father and times we all spent together. Bob was such a special person in my dad's life. He was his best friend. I hope they are together again playing dominos, fishing, hunting, or just telling dirty jokes. My thoughts are with all of you. Lots of love and memories xoxox

Yes his voice did precede him, as did his great big contagious laughter and generous spirit. He was a man kids loved. And remember now with fondness. Much love to Karrol and the whole family.

Tess, family, I remember many times visiting your father out in San Rafael at the family abode. He was always generous, charming and happy to engage me in both mundane and provocative discussions. He led a full and storied life.
My sympathies and thoughts go out to all of you.

When I think of Robert, I remember his big smile and big voice. He was a gentle man and one of the few truly grand men I've met. He will live on in my mind as a man who loved life, loved his family, his dogs and good food.
Asking God's blessing of peace on you, his family. I join you in honoring a man who was gallant, kind, and above all, real.
