Timothy Tron Obituary

Timothy A. "Tim" Tron, 68 of Big Island, died Sunday morning May 18, 2025 at the Marion General Hospital. He was born January 11, 1957 in Marion to the late Harry A. and Betty Ruth (Gay) Tron. Tim was a member of the New Bloomington United Methodist Church. He had worked in the real estate market in sales. He also had an antique shop in Mt. Victory, TJ's Antiques. Tim was a talented gunsmith; he made many of his own guns and helped many in the area with repairs. He was an avid hunter. Tim was a lifetime member of the Coon Hunters Assn and the Meeker Gun Club. He is survived by his wife, Janet D. Tron, stepchildren, Sherri (Kendrick) Adams of Delaware and Anthony Hayes of Mt. Gilead 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue. Pastor Don Woodard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Agosta Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in LaRue. Memorial gifts may be made to Compassus Hospice at 1713 Marion-Mt Gilead Rd Ste 107, Marion, Ohio 43302

I remember Tim from high school. He was a very gentle, respectful, and overall nice guy and always had a smile on his face. So sad to lose another classmate. . Sending prayers to the family
