LEWIS CENTER: Clifford C. Danner 88 of Lewis Center, formerly of Marion passed away Friday morning February 10, 2017 at Riverside Hospital surrounded by his loving family, following a steady decline in his health. He was born in Morral to the late Jesse Benton and Elva (Bonham) Danner. On March 22, 1984 he married Brenda Collins and she survives. Cliff was predeceased by his son Barry Danner and his siblings: Ralph, Robert, Richard and Jr. Danner, Thelma Nichols, Laverne Johnson, Virginia Robinson and Eva Millisor. Cliff owned Danner Homes and spent most of his life building and remodeling homes in the Marion and Columbus area. He was very much a "gentle giant"; thriving on asking questions designed to torment you, all with a huge smile and twinkle in his eye. Cliff was the "rite of passage" for anyone dating a Danner. He was the youngest of nine children and his sisters often said he could get away with almost anything, always keeping their mother jumping. In addition to his wife, Cliff is survived by his son Scott Danner, Columbus, step-daughters Pam (George) Haber, Lewis Center and Carol (Dave) Dezse, Galena, his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Private Family Services will be held with Graveside Services 1:00p.m. Monday at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High St., Lewis Center, Oh 43035.
