Frances Zajac Woycheshin

Frances Zajac Woycheshin, 97, of Marlin, formerly of Bremond, passed away Monday July 22, 2019, in Waco, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond, Texas, with Monsignor Isidor Rozycki and Deacon Julian Tyboroski officiating. Visitation was Friday, July 26, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary at Adams Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Woycheshin was born on Oct. 30, 1921, in Bremond, Texas, to Felix and Mary (Afinowicz) Zajac. She married the love of her life, John Frank Woycheshin, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 27, 1940. They were married for 56 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marlin where she was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She worked at Model Laundry & Dry Cleaning for 31 years. She had a sense of humor and quick wit that people loved about her.

Frances' passions were spending time with her family. She loved her grand and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially Sunday and Holiday dinners, baking constantly trying new recipes, loved nature and an avid reader and speller. She was a loving and caring mother to her 6 children. Frances dedicated her life to God and her family. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Mary (Afinowicz) Zajac; and her husband, John Frank Woycheshin; her brothers, Stanley Zajac, Thomas Zajac, Eli Zajac, Bruno Zajac, and Ike Zajac; and her sisters, Annie Melcer, Julia Dziedzic, Victoria Szymanski and Verna Stachowiak.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Woycheshin and wife Margaret, and Chris Woycheshin and wife Terry; her daughters, Lillian Lake, Nellie Yezak and husband Charles, Frances Kinsey, and Donna Spelce; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Pallbearers include: Caleb Woycheshin, Issac Spelce, Michael Kohl, Wesley Johnson, Daniel Rekieta and Reggie Rekieta.
