Feeding Hills
Timothy W. "Tim" Mayo passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2025. He was 31 years old. Born in Springfield on November 24, 1993, he was the son of Michael and Jennifer (Roberts) Mayo. He lived most of his life in Feeding Hills. After graduating from Agawam High School in 2012, Tim obtained his CDL and worked for AeroMed. He then became an instructor for NETTS in Somers, CT helping others obtain their CDL. He was recently employed with the town of Stafford, CT. Tim was a gifted and generous mechanic. He amassed an impressive collection of tools which he put to good use not only on his own vehicles, but often to make repairs for his friends and family. He enjoyed his model train collection, with some that his grandfather had as a child. Tim was predeceased by his grandfather William F. Roberts in 2014. He will be sorely missed by his loving parents, Michael and Jennifer and brother Nicholas, all of Feeding Hills, his grandparents Kenneth and Irene Mayo of Agawam and Mary Roberts of Feeding Hills, his girlfriend Emma Gonyea of Westfield, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Calling hours will be Wednesday September 3rd from 4-7pm at TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, with a mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church at 11:30am on Thursday September 4th, followed by burial at St. Thomas Cemetery. I'm extremely sorry for you're loss. He was such an amazing guy with a huge heart. I hope your hearts will heal in time and have peace that he is no longer suffering. I'll never forget all the fun times we had together. I remember all the times we all spent by the fire pit hanging out eating and drinking doing a bunch of crazy stuff laughing at each other. Tim will be missed terribly. He was a good friend to my son and loved but I think all who came in contact with him. I will certainly miss his tremendous smile and great attitude. Our condolences go to the Mayo family and all his friends. May he rest in eternal peace!

I am truly saddened to learn of Tim´s passing. He was always one of my favorites in the Agawam Schools. His smile, his laugh, and his large presence always made me feel happy to spend time with him. I loved listening to stories about his grandfather, they clearly had a special relationship. Even though we hadn´t seen each other in some time, he always kept a special place in my heart. So sorry for his family and shocked with this loss. I worked with Tim for many years at Nettts Tim was a good man and a great friend, he could always make me laugh at times when I needed it and those were plenty. My condolences to his family and friends he will be in my prayers. Rest in peace my Brother.
