Robert Humlong Obituary
LEXINGTON — Robert "Bob" Francis Humlong, Jr., 86, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Oct. 25, 2025, in Lexington.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1939, in Maysville, to the late Robert Francis Humlong, Sr., and Edna Hill Humlong.
Bob was a member of Southland Christian Church for many years.
He is survived by his son, Robert "David" Humlong (Jamie); grandchildren, Chelsea Bales (Jordan) and James Humlong (Kelleigh); great-grandchildren, William and Callie Bales, and Isaac and Sam Humlong; his siblings, Joan Humlong, and George Humlong; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Road, with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Germantown. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, and from 11 a.m. until the time-of-service Thursday at the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
