We had a party on June 11 to celebrate what would have been Aaron’s twenty-sixth birthday. Many of Aaron’s friends stopped by and we talked about the future and reminisced about the past. Often I feel sad thinking about and talking about Aaron. This year, June 11 was quite uplifting for me because all the memories were happy memories. Aaron was a funny guy. I heard some stories describing escapades that were hilarious. I wish he had lived longer; we could have had a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone who loves Aaron, keep praying for him, keep him alive in your heart, for one day we’ll all be together again. Remember Rick James!

You will be missed Aaron

Wally & Becky: It is with great sorrow that Mary and I learned of Aaron's untimely passing from our son, Geoff. You guys were among the nicest parents that we had met through my SYA coaching carrer, and our hearts go out to you in this time of loss. Although we have not seen either of you since our move to Pittsburgh, we feel as badly for you as we would a neighbor. Hang in there, be strong, and we will pray for all of you!

Dearest Becky, Wally and Abby,

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you on the unfortunate passing of your son and brother. Growing up with Aaron was an experience, he’s quite a character. He was a friend, a confidant and a protector; truly “One of a Kind.” His humor could brighten the most dreary days. The love and respect that he had for his family was admirable, he loved you all so very much.

Aaron touched the hearts of so many people. It was an honor and pleasure to have known him.
Thank you Aaron.
