Gary,Connie and family, I only met Alex 3 years ago but what memories I will always keep with me of him. The lobby get-togethers, our strudel and goodies parties, birthday and New Year's Eve parties, his hugs everyday, his kind words to me and my mom, his home-made Hungarian noodles and cottage cheese dish that he made for me and mom, his beautiful Hungarian prayer he wrote to my mom when she passed. He lightened up my day on her funeral when he showed up late with one of my friends when they both went to the wrong funeral home, signed someone elses book, stood in line only to find out they were at the wrong place. It made me smile at the right moment. Then Alex cried when my oldest daughter spoke about her grandmother. Alex was a caring, loving, thoughtful man. I spent an hour with him just a few weeks ago and we talked about his family, who he adored and loved more than life, about the war, football games he attended, our love of food and life in general. There is so much more I could write about but I just wanted to say, we will ALL miss you and remember you, Alex. I am so glad you came into my life and made it so much more brighter! Rest in peace till we meet again. "Toots"

Gary, Connie and the entire family Alex leaves behind,

We send our deepest sympathy to you all. Alex was the oldest and dearest friend of Bill's and Robin and Franco thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him through visits and phone conversations. What a great sense of family he had and how he loved to share stories of them. His humor still makes us laugh when we think of stories and anecdotes he told. Bill (Pop to us) remembers many of the adventures they shared in the Chidsey Street days. We will be with you in spirit as you lay Alex to rest and you will all remain in our thoughts and prayers.
