Alex Yanolko
Alex Yanolko, 81, of Whitehall, passed away March 24 at ManorCare II in Bethlehem. Born in Allentown he was a son of the late Alexander and Julia (Fenyo) Yanolko. Alex was the husband of Sylvia (Allegranzi) with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage this month. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 38 years prior to his retirement in 1986. Alex was a World War II Marine veteran. Survivors: Wife; sisters, Anna Yanolko of Northampton and Helen Weitknecht of Allentown. He was predeceased by brothers, George and Michael. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St.. Allentown. Please call from 9 a.m. until time of service. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
