Anna Marie Contakes

Anna Marie Contakes, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 surrounded by her loving family while in the care of Moravian Village. She was the loving wife of John F. "Jack" Contakes with whom she shared over 69 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Marie (Stern) Kolesnik. Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Price Opticians in Bethlehem for many years until retiring. She loved to spend time with family and enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City with Jack. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Jack, she will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Samuel, Thomas, James and her sister Arlene.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
