To the Huber Family,

I am sorry that I can not be with you today to celebrate the life of Pop Pop. I am sure he would understand, since he to was once called away from his family and the comforts of home to serve his country.

I am honored to have had the opportunity to know such a wonderful man. He, along with the rest of the family, have always made me feel welcome. His gleeful smile and sincere affection made us all feel loved and appreciated.

I will never forget all of the wonderful breakfasts we shared at the local diners. He helped Kristy and I gain “regulars” status at just a few local hot spots. I will never again order S.O.S. without thinking of him.

Now that he has passed we are left with his memory to warm our hearts. Let us incorporate his love of life and cheerful outlook into our own lives so that we can touch others the same way he touched each of us.

Yes, yes, Pop was a wonderful man.

I will be seeing you soon,

Randy Hall
