Uncle Charlie, Corrine, Mary, Sue and Laurie:
I deeply sorry to hear of Aunt Cula's passing, but glad that she is no longer suffering and can now be an angel to watch over all of you. Since she liked gardening, I thought this was a touching poem:
A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it
But now she is gone,
Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,
But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind,
The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay,
she loved every flower even some that were weeds,
So much love she would plant with each little seed,
But just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan,
So when it was her time he reached down his hand,
He look through the Garden searching for the best,
That's when he found Cula, it was her time to rest,
It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go,
But God had a spot in his garden, that needed a gentle soul,
So when you start missing Cula, remember if you just wait,
When God has a spot in his garden, She'll meet you at the gate....

Dear Charlie and family,
So sad to read about Cula's passing. It was an honor to have worked with Cula at the Danielsville Post Office. Cula was always so kind to all of us and was helpful to me when I first started working at the post office in 1991. I will miss her kindness and gentle nature. She always remembered me at Christmas time, by sending a card to me. I will never forget Cula and her wonderful personality.

I am so saddened to hear of Aunt Cula's passing. My sympathies to Uncle Charlie and the whole family. Aunt Cula used to come into Valleri's now and again, and she always made me laugh. She would tell us something funny that happened to her, while on a trip or doing just day to day things, and always talk about her family. I plan on remembering Aunt Cula laughing and telling me one of those funny stories, eating a piece of pie at the first booth where she always sat. May the petals of peace flutter around all of your family, eventually helping the tears to become less. My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this trying time.
