Survivors: Numerous nieces and nephews; predeceased by sisters, Fern C. Diehl, Doris J. Moyer, Lorraine R. Berta, Shirley F. Diehl, Jean L. Boyer, Mae E Fehnel and Marjorie Diehl.
Service: Graveside services will be held 10:00 am. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at St. John's Union Cemetery (Mickleys), Whitehall. The Rev. Virginia G. Schlegel will be officiating. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.

To one of the best and kindest neighbors I have ever had. You were an easy going, funny and genuine good man. You will be missed. He taught me alot about gardening and planting and harvesting .He was the man. Rest in peace my friend ❤

Dear Diehl Family: I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of you in the passing of Uncle Dale. He and Fern were life long customers of Ironton Telephone Co which is where I got to know them. There are no words to ease the pain, sorrow and heartbreak.
