Dave was my stepfather since I was in 7 years but he was really like my real father because he was closest I had to a father. We had a good time then we had our bad times I was all I've always love him especially because it's really truly a good husband to my mother. I was him through his final journey of life and I will say he was a true fighter but in the end he suffered so l know now he is no longer in pain and you always be in my heart! Love ,Adam

Deepest sympathies to the Appel family. I (Tom) worked with Davie at Clark and he taught me so much about the job & we had alot of laughs. We would eat lunch together daily. He will be fondly remembered. RIP Davie.
