I am so sad to hear that Eddie has been taken at a such a young age from his family and friends. My brothers and I (the Scharfs) grew up spending much of our time with the Kloss family - such good memories. Since hearing of Eddie's passing, I have been reflecting on the memories my family shared with the Kloss family. My particular memory of Eddie is how kind and considerate he was, especially to the younger children. I am certain Denise and the girls will have a guardian angel watching over them.

When I think of Ed I think of so many things. Rochelle and Kayla you could tell how proud he was of his girls. Denise it was always so nice to watch you and Ed together. It was easy to see how much the two of you loved each other. Hearing stories from my husband of Al and Ed growing up always makes me laugh. I know all the Kloss brothers and sisters are missing their brother and all he brought into their lives. Our boys will miss their Uncle Eddie and his visits to our house with Auggie Doggie. Ed was so many things to so many people he was nothing short of a wonderful man who we were lucky to have in our lives. I'am so sorry for your loss...we are always here for you if you need anything.

To the entire family, and it is a large one, I was deeply saddened and sorrowed to learn of Ed's passing. It is even harder to imagine after all his triumphs in life. It seems like an eternity ago that we played Chase, kick the can and footbal at the playground. He became such an inspiration to many. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with all of you in your time of grief.

To Denise, Rochelle & Kayla,

It wasn't hard to see how much he loved the three of you. It is an understatement when using the terms devoted, loving and dedicated when it came to his family. I know first hand how extremely hard it is to lose someone so close to you in your family. I am so sorry that he left you so soon. Hopefully the memories of a life worth living, and the good times you shared together will help ease the pain. Try and cherish the memories and hold on to his love. He still lives on with each of you-in your hearts.

Love,

Andy

I remember the first time I met "Eddie". It was Christmas time, and we were at the Lehigh Country Club. Eddie was doing his traditional portrayal of "Santa Kloss". As he walked around the room "Ho Ho Hoing" the pillow on his stomach slipped past his belt and fell between his legs. He just kept staggering around the room as if oblivious to his condition. We all laughed so hard, we had stomach cramps and tears were running down everyones faces! I miss you Eddie... Semper Fi!
