Eugene G. "Gino" Demyan

1944 - 2021

Eugene "Gino" G. Demyan, 76, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Michael and Frances (Puskas) Demyan. Gino was the beloved husband of Sandra A. (Wagner) Demyan with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. He started his career off as a millwright at Bethlehem Steel. After learning the metal building industry he became the owner and operator of Allentown Applicators and Erectors for over 35 years, constructing many of the metal buildings in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area. After retirement Gino continued to consult on many projects and took great pride in working at Bat Caddy where he did various repair work on motorized golf push carts. He was an avid golfer, getting three holes-in-one, and loved to fish. Gino was part of the prestigious Pioneers Club as a long-standing member of the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association, serving many years on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses South Mountain Congregation and used his construction experience as an international Emergency Disaster Relief Volunteer. Gino and his crane were also well-known on the Regional Building Committee.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Sandra, Gino will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Keri Fascella and husband Chris, Sasha Demyan and boyfriend Thomas Shafer and Shaina Riley and husband Turk; son, Matthew Wirth and wife Lynnette; sisters, Frann Camp and husband Ken and Kathy Czap and husband Michael; brothers, Michael Demyan and wife Delores and Phil Demyan and wife Cindy and grandchildren, Kaden Fascella and wife Georgia, Gavin Fascella, Isabella Fascella, Britain Graver, Lillian Hardy, Logan Hardy and Amelia Hardy.

Services: A virtual memorial service via Zoom will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Please contact one of his daughters for more information. Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem Pa 18018 has been entrusted with arrangements.
