Fanny Giandomenico
Fanny M. Giandomenico, 84, of Allentown, died Sunday, January 27, 2008, in her home. She was the wife of Vincent J. Giandomenico for 53 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Anselmo and Philomena (Williams) Tarola. Fanny worked as a seamstress for many years for the former Matte Dress Company in Allentown. She was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Vince, at home; daughters, Philomena Oplinger and her husband Brian of Allentown, Beverly Druckenmiller and her husband Thomas, Anita Hilbert and her companion Scott Keiser, all of Northampton; sisters, Antoinette Antoccia of Bethlehem, Stella Hussar and her husband Louis of Northampton; brothers, Albert and his wife, Dorina, Arthur and his wife Bernie, all of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Chad, Chelsea, Carisa, Danielle, Nicole. She was predeceased by brothers, Daniel, Ralph, Jeff. Services: Visitation 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 31, in the funeral home followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pauls Catholic Church 920 S. 2nd St. Allentown. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Online condolences may be sent at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Contributions: May be made to the church.
