i am so sorry to hear about gerry's passing; i met 'sweet lou' at one of bob knopf's golf trips and enjoyed his dry humor and passion for a few foods he shouldn't be eating (none of us can't say that though)......i remember playing and riding in the same cart with him and apologizing for his failing health and i said in effect '
don't worry about it; we'll make it work'.........curt saeger described gerry simply as a 'true gentleman' and i can't agree more.......my heart is heavy hearing this today......
