Greg C. Ziegler, 49, of Slatington, PA, died Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born July 15, 1966 in Allentown, he was the son of George Ziegler of Walnutport, PA and the late Loretta (Kromer) Ziegler who passed away in March 2011. Greg was a forklift operator for Ward Trucking Corp. Easton, PA for the past 16 years. He was a member of the Men's bowling league Slatington, PA, member of the mixed league at the former Rose Bowl, Allentown, PA.; Greg enjoyed the pastime of fishing and the annual trips to NY. He was an avid Northern Lehigh football fan supporting his son Chris. Survivors: He is survived by his father, George; two sons; Tyler J. Mertz of Whitehall, PA and Christopher J. Ziegler of Walnutport, PA; companion; Donna L. Stryker, Slatington, PA.; two brothers, Keith D. Ziegler and wife Joyce of Allentown, PA and Jody M. Ziegler and wife Karen of Slatington, PA; two Sisters, Debra A. wife of Barry Fenner of Walnutport, PA and Terri D. wife of Gregory Strohl of Palmerton, PA; nieces and nephews. Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Our prayers are with the Ziegler Families at this very difficult time. We had the pleasure of spending the first week of bass fishing at Black Lake, NY with Greg and Jody and the boys.
