Helen M. Duerr
Helen M. Duerr, 83, of South Whitehall Township, died Monday, February 26, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Duerr. Born in Belfry, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Frnak and Rose (Kovach) Kenedy. She worked as a bookkeeper. She was an active member at A.A.R.P. along with her husband for several years. In recent years, she helped at a soup kitchen in Allentown. Survivors: Son, Edward J. Duerr Jr. and his wife Kathy of Littleton, Colo.; daughters, Audrey DeLong and her husband Jack of Allentown, Jane Eckert and her husband Tom of Palmer Twp.; four grandchildren, Hannah, Daniel, Rebekah, Matthew, and eight great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday March 3, 2007 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
