Helen F. Ehritz, 88, of Zionsville died Wednesday January 7, 2009 at Manor Care, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Alfred J. Ehritz for 64 years until his death on January 15, 2006. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Hedwig (Unger) Tapler. Helen was a nursing assistant for Sacred Heart Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church of Limeport and the Alter and Rosary Society. She was inducted into the Pennsylvania and Lehigh County Voter Hall of Fame, voting in every general election for the past 50 years. Survivors: Son, Thomas and wife Bonnie of Coopersburg; daughter Carol wife of Tim Galle of Brodheadsville; grandson, Jeff and wife Heather Ehritz; granddaughter, Christine wife of Christopher Phillips; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Dylan, Jessica, Matthew, Krissy and Brandon; brother, John of Allentown; sisters, Giselle of Telford, Eleanor of Green Lane, Violet of Colesville, Florence, Rose Ann and Lily of Dillingersville. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday January 12, 2009, St. Joseph Church, 5050 St. Joseph Road, Limeport, PA 18060. Call 9:00-9:50 am.
