Herbert Nash Obituary

Herbert D. Nash Jr.
Herbert, 86, passed away on October 26, 2012 in Drums, PA. He was born on May 16, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Herbert and Esther (Nicholas) Nash. He is pre-deceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth Nash. He was a Navy veteran, a proud graduate of Penn State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and had a 40 year career at PP&L, culminating as the VP of the Central Division in Hazleton. He served on the boards of the Hazleton General Hospital, Can-Do Community Foundation, Economic Development Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania, United Way, Minsi Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Hazleton Healthcare Foundation, and was the Chairman of the Board of the Greater Hazleton Health Alliance. He also volunteered at the Jr. Chamber of Commerce, was president of the Lehigh County Conference of Churches, and was a Rotarian. Survivors: Son, Keith E. Nash and wife Dolores; grandchildren, Aaron Nash and Rachel Nash; and many loving friends. Services: Private. www.weberfuneralhomes.com.
