Jack Hildenbrandt Obituary

Jack Hildenbrandt
Jack Hildenbrandt passed away July 24, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack was born in Easton, Pa. and grew up in Bath, Pa. with his brother and two sisters. As a child, he was an avid outdoorsman, a competitive prankster, as well as Pennsylvania State Wrestling Champion in high school. Jack joined the Navy in 1967 and spent 25 years as a submariner, rising to master Chief (E-9), the highest rank he could achieve. He retired from the Navy in 1992. While traveling the world, he loved touring different countries and was extremely proud to have finished up his Navy career without a single tattoo. After retiring, he earned his bachelors degree in health management services and finished his career working for SAIC where he leaves many special friends. After his love of his family, his second passion was bass fishing. He competed on a semi-professional basis, competing on the winning Virginia State team for the Bass Federation Championship in 2005. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors: Jacks first passion in life was his family, his beloved wife, Pam; four sons, Michael, David, Stephen and Paul. He was a wonderful husband and father and a man of honor. He was also a loving Papa to his four granddaughters, Jamie, Jenny, Alexis and Madison. He is survived by his parents, Jean and James Hoffert; brother, Richard Hildenbrandt; sisters, Barbara Ehrig and Susan Thomas; a host of nieces and nephews. Services: A celebration of life was held at Ascension Catholic Church. Arrangements, George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown-Bath.
